Our Policies
For the purposes of our policies, “Business Days” refers to Monday through Friday.
A valid credit card must be on your account at all times.
Payment is required in full upon enrolling for all programming, with the exception of sessions lasting 12 weeks or longer. If the session is 12 weeks or longer, installment payments may be considered upon request. Installment payments are subject to a $35.00 non-refundable administrative fee (per Mover).
If you wish to change the day or time of your lesson, all requests must be sent to kenaston@readysetmove.ca. For sessions 12 weeks or longer, attempts to find a suitable time slot will be made up to the cut-off date for cancellations. Changing days and/or time slots may result in a tuition price increase. Once the cut-off for cancellations has passed, switching the time or day of a lesson may not be an option. Class changes may be subject to administrative fees.
Refunds can only be made to the credit card on your account; cash or debit refunds will not be granted.
Credits on account can be used for future lessons, courses, or retail merchandise. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
If a Mover's hair is long enough to pull back or tie up, it must be secured tightly in a ponytail or similar style.
Ready, Set, Move! is a safe space. Physical or verbal outbursts toward our coaches, customer service team, office staff, or others will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal from our premises and programs. No refunds or credits will be issued.
Gender-based coaching preferences will not be considered.
Please note that coaches listed for courses or classes are subject to change and may be updated prior to the start of sessions.
Power outages are something we cannot control. In the event of a power outage, emergency lighting will activate and the class will continue as planned.
If you choose to leave or not participate during a power outage, no credit or refund will be issued.
Parents/Guardians may take photos and video of their child during classes. Only your child is permitted to be in the photo or video.
Ready, Set, Move! staff reserve the right to view and veto photos or video if there is a concern.
On rare occasions, changes to class start or end times may occur. In these instances, Ready, Set, Move! will inform affected Movers via email as soon as possible prior to the start of class. If a Mover chooses not to participate in the delayed class, no refunds or credits on account will be granted.
Ready, Set, Move! requires that a release be obtained when information on any candidate is made public. This includes, but is not restricted to, the use of photos and/or video for promotional materials or display purposes, including our social media posts on Instagram, Facebook, and the Ready, Set, Move! website.
Tuition for all programming is due in full upon enrollment.
During mass enrollment periods, if a tuition payment is declined, Ready, Set, Move! will hold the requested class spots for 24 hours. If payment is not made within this time frame, the class spots will be released to other clients.
If payment is declined and you are unable to complete payment within 24 hours of enrollment, please send an email request to delay the payment to tanya@readysetmove.ca within the 24-hour period. This email must include a proposed payment date, which is subject to approval by Ready, Set, Move!. Ready, Set, Move! may counter the proposed payment date.
Tuition must be paid in full prior to a Mover beginning classes unless the Mover is on an Installment Payment Plan.
For sessions of 12 weeks or longer, Installment Payment Plans are available upon request. In lieu of interest, there is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $35.00 per Mover. The first installment payment is due upon enrollment, and subsequent payments will be automatically charged to the credit card linked to your account on the 1st of each month, for a predetermined number of months (as set by Ready, Set, Move!). A non-refundable $20.00 administrative fee will be applied to your account for any declined payments.
If you are on the Installment Payment Plan and a monthly tuition payment is delinquent by two (2) weeks or more, your Mover will not be permitted to participate in class until payment is made. Classes missed due to delinquent payments will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
If an installment payment is delinquent by four (4) weeks, it will be assumed that you are withdrawing from classes. Your Mover will be dropped from their current class and those spots released to other clients. No further installment payments will be processed. All tuition paid up to that point is non-refundable and not eligible for credits on account.
We do our best to minimize coach absences, but sometimes it is unavoidable. We will make every effort to find a substitute coach for your class.
In the event a substitute cannot be found, we reserve the right to cancel the class.
We will try to reschedule a class missed due to a coach’s or our absence. If a class cannot be rescheduled, a credit will be issued to your account.
In the event that a Mover misses a class for any reason (with the exception of an injury or long-term illness—see Absence Due to Injury or Long-Term Illness), no credit or refund will be given.
Make-up classes are not available for missed classes due to Mover absence.
In the event a Mover suffers an injury or long-term illness that would cause an extended absence from class, the following policy applies:
The Mover must immediately inform Ready, Set, Move! of the injury or long-term illness via email to kenaston@readysetmove.ca and provide a doctor’s note.
The Mover must choose how long they will be away from classes: either four (4), six (6), or eight (8) weeks. Every attempt will be made to fill the vacant spot in the Mover’s absence. The Mover will not be able to return earlier than the time selected.
Only once a doctor’s note has been received by Ready, Set, Move! will a credit on account be issued. The credit and the time away begin on the day the doctor’s note is received by Ready, Set, Move! Credits and time away cannot be backdated.
Absences of less than four (4) weeks from the date the doctor’s note is received will not be credited.
Should the Mover need more time than originally chosen, a new doctor’s note will be required, and the Mover will again choose either four (4), six (6), or eight (8) weeks of absence. Another credit will be issued from the date the new doctor’s note is received.
Failure to adhere to the policies mentioned will result in the immediate suspension of classes; no credit or refund will be issued. Do not attend classes if:
Anyone in your household has lice
Your Mover has nausea or has been vomiting
They are showing any signs of illness (sore throat, cough, excessive runny nose, etc.)
They have a rash of unknown origin
They have an eye infection
If classes have not yet started but you have enrolled, refunds will be made to the credit card on account, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee (per Mover).
In the event of a cancellation between the first (1st) and third (3rd) week of classes, a credit on account or refund to the card on file will be made, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee (per Mover), the total value of any classes since the start of the session, and any classes scheduled to take place within two (2) business days of the cancellation request.
The cut-off for cancellations is the third (3rd) week of the session. After the third (3rd) class has taken place, no refunds or credits will be granted.
If a Mover requests a transfer to a different day or time slot after the third (3rd) class, all efforts will be made to find a suitable spot. If the switch results in a negative price difference, a credit on account will be issued. Refunds for any difference in price will not be made. If a suitable time slot cannot be found, no refunds or credits will be granted.
For cancellations after registration and more than 7 business days prior to the day camp or mini-session, a refund will be issued to the credit card on account, less a $25.00 cancellation fee (per registrant).
For cancellations exactly 7 business days prior to the day camp or mini-session, a 50% refund will be issued to the credit card on file.
For cancellations with less than 7 business days prior to the course, no refund or credit on account will be issued.
In the case of cancellation due to illness or injury, written notice must be received by Ready, Set, Move! right away. If a doctor’s note is received no later than 72 hours after the start of the camp/session, enrollment will be transferred to another course date. If a suitable date cannot be found, a credit will be issued to your account. If no replacement date can be found, or if cancellation occurs with less than 72 hours’ notice and no doctor’s note is provided, no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued.
All event bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Without a deposit, your event is not considered booked, and the date and time will remain available for other clients.
Payment in full is due no later than two weeks prior to the event date.
Cancellations require a minimum of two weeks’ notice. Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice are not eligible for refunds or credits on account, but every attempt will be made to find a suitable date and time to reschedule your event. Events must be rescheduled for a date within 60 days of the original booking. If a suitable new date cannot be found, no credits or refunds will be issued.
